Trail Description Approximately 13 miles of trailway connects Nails Creek to Birch Creek. Nice wide trail with rolling hills. Rocks on some of the hills, shoes recommended but not necessary. 60 foot long, 9 foot wide wooden bridge is 30 feet above creek. New railing has been installed on the bridge. Mounting blocks on each side of the bridge. Heavily wooded with some grassland.

Campground 10 primitive equestrian sites (no generators 10p - 6a). Two 10x10 pens per campsite. Water in the area, fire rings, picnic tables, lantern holders, round pen, water trough at trail head. 10 full rv sites with water/elec although we have not been to that area to see the horse pens/ facilities.

(Gently sloping or level terrain; trails are groomed or wide open; shallow or no creek crossings. ) 
 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
